Plus there's an alternate ending I have to unlock.
Little Nightmares was a frighteningly unique platformer that preyed on our deepest fears in the most fascinating ways. It's a fun, quick story with a lot of details and I'm sure I'll notice more a second time around. Little Nightmares 2 is a platforming sequel from Tarsier Studios that will prey on your deepest and darkest fears. Little Nightmares 2: Final thoughtsĪlthough I have already played through the game once, I am planning on playing again. But, I would consider this a very minor complaint overall.

While it makes sense with the story, it was still disappointing because this is an experience that would be fun with friends. Little Nightmares 2 is a fantastic horror game full of clever puzzles, haunting encounters and one of the most atmospheric settings I’ve experienced since Limbo.
Unfortunately it didn't play out this way. With the addition of a second regular character for the journey, I was hoping they had made a multiplayer option for Little Nightmares 2. Luckily this happened right as I reached a checkpoint so I didn't have to redo too much and it wasn't a regular issue. Mono became stuck and was gliding instead of taking steps as I moved the joy stick around and he would not jump or grab objects. It's also a bit too long, occasionally frustrating and, in one key moment, inaccessible for players who are. Little Nightmares II succeeds in all the same ways the first one did, although the one big attempt to change things up was ultimately the only miss for me. One occasion led me to a glitch where I had to use the resume from checkpoint option. Little Nightmares II is a delightfully spooky foray into a horrifyingly gorgeous world. During my playthrough, I was exploring different possibilities and trying to figure out if there may be hidden areas - just generally exploring the environment.
